Its the rush hour, with 45mins delays on 20min routes...
I’d rather wait for it to die down that die in my car...

Sounds like a pleasant, light traffic day in LA lol. I’m glad I dont have a commute into the city, there are certainly plenty of routes that take over an hour to travel less than 10 miles on a normal day!

There’s a 50 minute delay in the ring road... A highway with 50mph speedlimits...

Find the auto section and get reading for awhile! :)

Well yeah freeways seem to be a failed concept for handling high volumes of traffic, its why I end up using google maps avoid highways to go almost anywhere.

Just go find some Dr Seuss books and have your childhood shattered by his hack writing, which seemed clever at the time.

Its the second largest University library here in Mexico....

So they’ll definitely have it!
I went to the school with the largest university library in the US. It was massive. And even back in the 90s, I mostly used the internet anyway...
Universidad Autonoma? Just guessing. My knowledge of Mexican schools is slim.

The largest library is in UNAM; the national autonomous University... I’m at a private college called Universidad Iberoamericana. Surprisingly its unam where all the elitist people are! It has such an image... Such a reputation! Its a great college if not the best so don’t take me wrong! But they probably wouldn’t like me or accept me

Ooooooh. Nice.
I just mentioned in another group that I miss libraries. I work in coffee shops when I get tired of looking at my garbage apartment, but there’s not really else to hide. I don’t know if hiding is all that healthy when I feel like butt, but I kinda wish I could?

I remember I went to coffee shops to work on my book too! But it was often more about the ride there.
Since it was during the summer time, I could grab a motorcycle or my bycicle and just go really far away and think on the way to the coffee shop.
Once I left my hometown to visit my family it turned to an old convertible merc and a crazy amount of backroads and wilderness in the middle of nowhere in Galicia. I´d take the car to the nearest electric turbine park and just write under the gaze of the turbines and a shit ton of wind!

This is the part where you go to the engineering library and drown yourself in archived car magazines, if your school keeps them there.
Some of my best times in college were summer afternoons spent in the air-conditioned library enjoying old Car and Driver , waiting for the school year to begin again.

I don´t think they keep car mags... they do keep other types of magazines like Processo though (like Politico)
I ended up going to the computer lab and I finished my homework for graphical design which was laughably easy; we only had to design a table top (not even an entire table) capable of withstanding a 5000N force. Admittedly said table could only be 25mm thick...
I was ready to make braces and like, reading into the stress analysis but it withstood without issue... with a safety factor of 2.68, which I think is rather good for a table top
